Baked Acorn Squash Recipe 

3 acorn squash
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper

Wash and halve squash.  Remove seeds and fibers from middle of squash.  Sprinkle salt, pepper, and brush butter on cut side of squash.  Put squash facing with the cut side down onto an oiled baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.  Check to see if squash is tender.  If not, bake an additional 20 minutes.  When squash is ready, scoop the meat out of the shell and serve with butter and sugar.
