6 large carrots 1/3 cup butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/3 cup hot water
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Peel carrots and cut into 4 long pieces each. Place carrot pieces in a buttered baking dish. Combine all other ingredients in a saucepan and heat until well mixed. Pour saucepan contents over carrot pieces and then place in pre-heated oven. Cover dish and bake at 350 degrees for 90 minutes or until carrots can be cut with a fork. |
