2 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
5 tablespoons cocoa
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons baking soda dissolved in 1 cup hot water
Sift together all dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk, vanilla, and water with baking soda. Beat with electric mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes. Bake in 13 x 9 inch cake pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
