3/4 cup flour 1 1/4 cup cornmeal 3 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 eggs 1 cup milk 1/4 cup oil
Mix all ingredients in mixing bowl. Pour into a well greased iron skillet and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Check center of corn bread with a knife to see if it is done. If not done, bake 5 more minutes. Serve with melted butter and honey. |
