A basic quiche crust suitable for any homemade quiche.
1-1/2 cups flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup butter
You can add milk or water to make it easier to work the crust dough, just add a little at a time to keep from making it too soggy. Combine flour and salt and mix well. Then, add butter a little at a time and try to incorporate it into the dry ingredients. Add water or milk if necessary to make the crust workable. To use the crust, place in a greased pyrex pie plate and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Then remove from the oven and add your quiche ingredients. |
