1 large can chopped clams 3 cups water 6 cups milk 3/4 cups melted butter 2 cups onions, chopped 8 chopped potatoes
Drain the can of clams and keep the liquid for later use. Heat butter in a pan and use to sauté the onions. Mix in potatoes and clam juice. Cook the potatoes until they are done and tender. The smaller you cut the pieces, the faster they will cook. Add the clams to the pan. Cook for another 3 to 5 minutes. Add in the other liquids and heat till all is hot and well mixed. Season to taste with salt and pepper. |
