1 cup flour 1 cup cornmeal 3 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 eggs 1 cup milk 1/4 cup oil 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Mix all ingredients in large mixing bowl. Beat until well mixed. Pour into greased cast iron skillet and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Check center of corn bread to see if it is done. If not done, bake 5 more minutes. Serve with melted butter. |
