Clam Chowder Crockpot Recipe 

1 large can chopped clams, drained well
1 cup water
4 cups milk
3/4 cups margarine
2 cups onions, minced or diced
8 diced potatoes

Combine all ingredients in a crockpot or slow cooker and heat over medium heat for 4 to 6 hours.  Check for tenderness of potatoes and onions to tell if clam chowder is done or not.  This recipe for crockpot clam chowder has a reduced amount of liquids in it because of the unique nature of crockpot cooking.
