1 diced onion 4 cups diced potatoes 2 pounds haddock or cod fish Salt to taste Pepper to taste 1/2 cup hot water 2 cups evaporated whole milk
Cook onions and potatoes in hot water until tender. lay fish on top and cover with evaporated milk. Salt and pepper to taste. Add cayenne pepper if you want it to be hot. Continue cooking until fish is flaky and a creamy sauce has formed for this fish chowder. |
