Diabetic Chocolate Cake Recipe 

3/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
Sugar substitute to equal 1/2 cup sugar

Mix dry ingredients, except sugar substitute, together until well combined.  Mix water, oil, egg, and sugar substitute in a separate bowl.  Combine both mixtures and beat with a wooden spoon until cake batter is creamy.  Pour cake batter into a greased cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to  40 minutes.  Check center of cake with a toothpick for doneness.
