Diabetic White Cake Recipe 

2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1 beaten egg
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Sugar substitute to equal 1 cup sugar

Sift dry ingredients together.  Fold in butter or margarine and make a crumbly mixture.  Mix beaten egg, milk and vanilla together and then mix into first mixture.  Beat batter gently until mostly smooth.  Pour into oiled cake pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees.  Check middle of cake with a knife or toothpick to see if it is done.
