8 to 10 pound fresh ham 1 can beer 1/4 cup minced garlic 2 tbsp vegetable oil 1/2 tsp thyme, ground 1/2 tsp sage, ground
Cut off any extra fat that may be on the ham before cooking. Make a seasoned oil by placing herbs in oil and let the mixture set overnight. Use the oil as a rub for the ham. Bake ham at 350 degrees for 4 to 5 hours or until internal temperature is 185 degrees. You can use the beer to baste the ham during the cooking, so it will not dry out. |
