12 green jalapeno peppers 1/4 cup olive oil Dash salt Dash pepper 12 1/4 inch thick x 1 inch long cheddar cheese slices
Cut ends off jalapeno peppers. Slice peppers lengthwise down the middle to make each pepper into two halves. Scrape out seeds with a metal spoon. Rub olive oil onto both sides of peppers and place on baking sheet. You can either place the baking sheet outside on your barbecue grill or under your oven broiler. Cook peppers until edges start to curl. Add cheese slices and cook till cheese begins to melt. Add salt or pepper to taste and serve. |
