1 smoked ham 3/4 cup honey 1/4 cup brown sugar
Combine honey and brown sugar in a sauce pan and heat over low heat until sugar dissolves into honey. Stir constantly to prevent burning. Pour hot honey glaze over ham. Reserve some of the glaze to baste the ham. Place ham in a large roasting pan and cover. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about an hour. Uncover ham and bake an additional 45 minutes. Check internal temperature of ham with a meat thermometer. Cooking times may vary depending on weight of ham and temperature of oven. Internal temperature of ham should reach 185 degrees before being served. Allow ham to set for 5 to 10 minutes before carving for nicer results. |
