4 cups whole milk 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup corn meal 1 egg, beaten 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon sal
Heat whole milk to scalding, be sure to stir to prevent burning. Slowly stir in corn meal and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes. Pour cooked corn meal and milk mixture into a greased baking dish. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake at 300 degrees for one hour. Top your Indian pudding with raisins or other dried fruit before serving. |
