1 pound cubed lamb meat 1/2 clove garlic, minced 1/4 cup flour 2 tablespoons butter 3/4 cup hot water 2 1/2 cups potatoes, cubed 1/2 cup carrots, sliced 1 cup green beans, chopped 1 jar prepared brown gravy 2 cans canned biscuits
Melt butter in hot skillet. Coat cubed lamb chunks in a mixture of flour and minced garlic. Brown in hot skillet. Place browned lamb cubes and water in a covered casserole dish. Cook in a 350 degree oven for about an hour, and then add vegetables to casserole dish. Return dish to oven and bake for another 45 minutes. Remove pan and add gravy and stir to mix all ingredients. Top dish with canned biscuits to form a top crust for pie. Return to oven and cook until biscuits are brown and done. |
