1/4 cup olive oil 2 tbsp. minced garlic 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes 1 can tomato paste 2 tsp. sugar 1 tbsp. crushed basil 1 tsp. salt Dash black pepper
Heat oil in cast iron skillet. Sauté garlic and onion until tender and brown. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer until sauce gets thick enough for you. It usually takes 20 to 30 minutes. Stir occasionally to keep from burning. |
