5 pound venison roast 6 slices bacon Salt to taste Pepper to taste 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 onion quartered 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Salt and pepper roast as desired. Lay strips of bacon in bottom of oiled roasting pan. Set roast on top of bacon strips. Pour mixture of seasonings and lemon juice onto roast. Quarter onion and place in pan. Add 1/4 cup hot water to pan. Cover roasting pan and cook until internal temperature of roast reaches 180 degrees. Slice venison roast and serve. |
