2 lb. lean ground beef 1/2 cup onion 1/4 cup green pepper 1 cup tomato paste 1 tsp. ground oregano 2 tbsp. garlic 1/2 tsp. salt
Brown beef in skillet. When ground meat starts to turn from pink to brown, throw in chopped onion, bell pepper and cook until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Add in tomato paste and mix well. Stir in oregano, salt and garlic. Simmer with an additional 1/2 cup of water until thickened. |
