1/2 cup flour 1 1/2 cups cornmeal 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 eggs 1 cup milk 1/4 cup oil 1 drained can whole kernel sweet corn
Mix all ingredients, except corn, in large bowl. Spread batter into bottom of iron skillet and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Check center of corn bread with toothpick. If toothpick comes out clean, then corn bread is done. If toothpick isn't clean then, bake 5 more minutes. |
