3 ripe avocados 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup sour cream 1 package taco seasoning 1 cup chopped green onions 1 cup chopped black olives Bag of tortilla chips 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/2 cup mayonnaise 2 cans prepared bean dip 2 cups tomatoes, chopped and cored 16 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
Peel, pit, and mash avocados in medium bowl with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, taco seasoning in another bowl. To assemble: spread prepared bean dip on a large shallow serving platter. Then spread avocado mixture. Add layer of sour cream and taco mixture. Sprinkle with chopped green onions, tomatoes and olives. Sprinkle with cheese. Serve either chilled or at room temperature with tortilla chips. |
