12 slices thin bread, crusts removed 4 small tomatoes, sliced thin 10 slices bacon, cooked 8 lettuce leaves 8 thin slices cooked chicken or turkey meat 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
Butter 8 slices of bread on one side. Butter the remaining four slices on both sides. Top four slices of bread with tomato and bacon. Top bacon with bread buttered on both sides. Cover this slice with lettuce and meat. Spread mayonnaise over meat and cove with remaining bread. Press tea sandwich together firmly and cut into quarters. |
