Whole Wheat Bread Recipe 

2 cups milk
1 pkg active yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1/4 cup molasses
1 1/2 tbsp shortening
2 1/2 tsp salt
6 cups whole wheat flour

Place yeast into warm water and allow time to activate.  Combine milk with dry ingredients in a large bowl.  Incorporate yeast mixture and mix well.  Knead dough 5 to 7 times.  Place dough in oiled bowl and let stand 45 minutes.  Remove dough from bowl and knead 2 more times.  Put dough back into bowl and let rise 45 more minutes.  Separate dough into 2 loaves.  Place dough into a greased loaf pan.  Bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes.
